Product details and specifications
A Tap HSS 8x1.25 & Drill 6.7mm 2pc Set is a set of tools used for threading and drilling, typically for metalworking or similar applications. Here's what each component means: Tap HSS 8x1.25: This is a High-Speed Steel (HSS) tap with a thread size of 8mm x 1.25mm. The HSS material ensures the tap is durable and capable of cutting threads in hard materials. The 8x1.25 indicates that it is designed to create a thread with an 8mm diameter and a 1.25mm pitch (the distance between each thread). Drill 6.7mm: This is a drill bit with a diameter of 6.7mm. It is used to drill a hole that will match the size needed to properly cut the 8x1.25mm threads. The 2pc set includes both the tap and the drill bit, providing the tools necessary to first drill a hole of the correct size and then tap the hole to create internal threads for a corresponding bolt or fastener. This set is commonly used for tasks like creating threaded holes for screws or bolts in metal or similar materials.
