The Tork Craft Screw Extractor Set 12 Piece W / Drill Bits for m3 is a tapered bar with a reverse thread that bites into a drilled broken fastener. The extractor is made of hardened steel. A pilot hole is drilled into the broken fastener, the tool is tapped into the hole and turned anticlockwise so it grips and backs the remains out.
